how to use module about monitoring

i see doc from okapi guide(https://github.com/folio-org/okapi/blob/master/doc/guide.md),there mentions aboute monitoring and instrumentation in “What are ‘modules’?” section。and i want to know how does it work，i cant find any reference docs。
